Construction quality and choice of materials
The load-bearing structure of these furnishing accessories has been conceived to defy time, using exclusively high-quality certified stainless steel. The use of stainless steel tubulars with a satin finish does not only respond to an aesthetic need for contemporary elegance, but guarantees a surface extremely resistant to corrosion and daily wear, keeping the brilliance of the metal unaltered.
The mechanical precision of the project reveals itself in the functional details: the integration of spacers and gaskets in black POM C (ZELLAMID 900SW semi-crystalline thermoplastic material), chosen for its excellent mechanical properties and dimensional stability, allows for the elimination of friction and the protection of contact surfaces, giving the object a solidity perceptible to the touch.

The supporting surface is made of natural tempered glass, a material that combines maximum visual transparency with certified impact resistance, guaranteeing the total safety of the user without renouncing the lightness of the design.
To complete the dynamic soul of the object, a movement system derived directly from the heavy mechanical sector intervenes. The use of industrial swiveling wheels allows for fluid and effortless mobility in every direction. Each support, made of galvanized steel and finished with a high-resistance black epoxy coating, supports rubberized wheels designed to protect every type of surface, guaranteeing a bold chromatic contrast and a technical and distinctive character to the entire work.
The whole is assembled by means of M8 stainless steel threaded rods.

In my experience as a designer, the quality of an object is measured not only by its function, but also by its long-term environmental impact. For this reason, the choice of materials follows a logic of total recyclability and durability.

The predominant use of stainless steel and tempered glass guarantees a potentially infinite useful life for the product. At the end of its very long cycle of use, the entire object has been engineered to be easily disassembled: every component — from the metal to the glass, down to the POM C spacers and the industrial wheels — can be separated and destined for their respective recovery channels.

The construction system allows for interchangeability. Every single component of the furniture is coded and replaceable. It is possible, for example, to replace only the glass at a later time to change color or silk-screen printing, thus renewing the aesthetics of the furnishing without having to replace the piece of furniture.
